Patatas con bechamel de cebolla

Raciones: para 4 personas
Ingredientes:
♥ 1 kg de patatas pequeñas
♥ 2 cebollas francesas
♥ 50 g de “jamón york” de soja 100% vegetal
♥ 50 g de queso de soja tipo cheddar o parmesano, rallado
♥ 1/2 diente de ajo
♥ 4 cucharadas de pan rallado japonés
♥ 150 ml de leche de soja
♥ 1 cucharada de harina de trigo
♥ 2 cucharadas de aceite de oliva
♥ orégano
♥ estragón
♥ pimienta negra
♥ 1/2 cucharadita de sal
Lavar muy bien las patatas cepillándolas bajo el grifo y colocar en una fuente.
Cortar las cebollas en tiras y picar el diente de ajo. Pochar en una sartén con el aceite de oliva, las especias y la sal durante 5 minutos a fuego bajo.
Cortar el “jamón york” vegano en tiras y colocar sobre las patatas. Agregar a la cebolla la harina, remover bien e ir añadiendo gradualmente la leche de soja hasta conseguir una salsa ligera. Verter por encima de las patatas. Salpicar con el queso de soja rallado y el pan rallado japonés y cocer al horno 30 minutos a 190ºC o hasta que las patatas estén tiernas.
Servir caliente.

POTATOES WITH ONION BECHAMEL

Ingredients:
♥ 1 kg small potatoes
♥ 2 french onions
♥ 50 g “vegan ham”
♥ 50 g vegan soy cheese, cheddar or parmesan style, grated
♥ ½ garlic clove
♥ 4 tablespoon Japanese breadcrumbs
♥ 150 ml soy milk
♥ 1 tablespoon wheat flour
♥ 2 tablespoon olive oil
♥ oregano
♥ tarragon
♥ black pepper
♥ ½ teaspoon salt
Wash well and brush potatoes with water and put on an oven mold. Cut onion into stripes and chop finelly garlic. Fry lightly in a frying pan with spices and salt for 5 minutes at low heat.
Cut “vegan ham” into stripes and put on the potatoes. Add wheat flour to the onion, stir well and add gradually soy milk until smooth. Pour over the potatoes. Sprinkle with soy cheese and Japanese breadcrumbs and cook at the oven for 30 minutes at 190ºC or until done. Serve hot.
